are in the ever popular Poway Unified School District. The PUSD has a strong reputation for the quality of it’s educational program. Many home buyers will only consider homes located within the Poway Unified School District.

Stone Valley Elementary School in 4S Ranch

Stone Ranch Elementary is one of the K-5th grade schools located in 4S Ranch. Opened in 2004 and with over 1,000 students, Stone Ranch is the largest Elementary school in Poway. In addition to the already dynamic learning environment Stone Ranch offers, they also have pre-school, all day Kindergarten and PEPP, a two year Kindergarten program. Monterey Ridge is another 4S Ranch Elementary school. Opened in 2007, an interesting fact about this school is that 60% of it’s energy comes from solar power. The layout of Monterey Ridge is that they have 5 small learning communities they call villages. Each village has 7 classrooms surrounding a family room. This sounds like a fun place for children to learn, not to mention they have several Teacher Of The Year awardees.
