September Inventory of Homes for Sale was Down

Limited Inventory Means Market Is Not Buyers Market Anymore

The inventory of single family homes for sale in the 92127 Rancho Bernardo area was down in September.  The Total Inventory of Properties available for sale as of September was 151, down -6.8% from 162 last month and down -43.2% from 266 in September of last year. September 2012 Inventory was at the lowest level compared to September of 2011 and 2010.

This is good news for home sellers. A comparatively lower MSI is more beneficial for sellers while a higher MSI is better for buyers. The September 2012 MSI of 3.6 months was at its lowest level compared with September of 2011 and 2010.
