We had a few closings last week! The activity in Santaluz has been excellent since the beginning if the year. We have seen an increase in interest from residents from Carmel Valley, Fairbanks Ranch, La Jolla and Rancho Santa Fe. Santaluz Club Events in May 2011
The Return of the Murder Mystery is scheduled for May! A popular offering at the Santaluz Club this year promises to provide even more entertainment! Throughout the night and during a dinner clues are given to each table to solve the murder. The event starts with cocktail hour and a “meet and greet” where the actors are mixed in with members. Since Santaluz Club is always adding new members one never knows if you are meeting an actor or a new member/resident. A murder is acted out complete with sound effects and the night is underway!
Cooking with Chef Bonisa at the Santaluz Club
Another favorite is Cooking with Chef Bonisa! He shares all his secrets and provides recipes! This month the focus is on cheese..who doesn’t love cheese! Combined with a nice wine it should be a fun event!

We have been waiting for the new studio which will have cycles and pilates reformers and now it is happening! The fitness program at Santaluz is fabulous offering a wide array of personal training and group classes. There is literally something for everyone and this adds even more! The Power Plate was also just introduced and I am a walking testimoinial for the great effects I have achieved using that after having instruction from Laura Gooch!

Tax Tips To Save You Money
2010 Taxes Are Due S_O_O_N!!!
I have been organizing my taxes for the past few months. That is really the word..”organizing”. From excel spread sheets to hundreds of receipts I shove in a box all year long the process remains painful..painful! I used to just keep the receipts and categorize them in piles. Now with all the software and scanners it becomes more sophisticated and more work!

I do know iI am thankful for every deduction I can get. That is why I believe in the power of real estate investing and home ownership. I would much rather pay myself than Uncle Sam!
